EXPECT :
Our puppies come with a family history that shows four generations and a health record. They will have received their first vaccinations, have a microchip, and will have started heartworm prevention. The whole kennel is on 24% protein and 20% fat dog food. Half a gallon will go home with each puppy. The puppies are trained to use a litter box and have begun crate training. Now this is a tedious part and will need alot of repetition. Remember, puppies are situational and need alot of patience. All our terriers are genetically tested per the JRT Health Registry.
As responsible, experienced Jack Russell Terrier breeders, we take great care in planning each & every litter with always the goal of improving our terriers. Our Jack Russell Terrier puppies are sold by reservation to approved homes, under a written contract that guarantees their health and a lifetime return policy.
All puppies are vaccinated according to age and dewormed before they are placed in their new homes. As concerned breeders, we require that all "pet quality" puppies be spayed or neutered at the appropriate age. This is our way to help protect against pet overpopulation and irresponsible breeding. We believe in quality, not quantity!
POLICY:
Smokin Pistol puppies are usually available for reservation before they are born. If you want to join our waiting list, please reach out to us for an application, and we will go over pricing and the deposit to reserve your spot. Puppies are evaluated from the time they are born till leaving. We can determine early on if a pup will need a special home or will be great in a family home. We guarantee that every puppy will be friendly, well-socialized, exposed to different scenarios, and healthy. Puppies can move to their new homes when they are between 10 to 12 weeks old, depending on the individual puppy and its litter.
Our main goal is to find the right home for each terrier. We carefully suggest terriers that will fit well with their new families and living situations. This means we focus on the dog's temperament foremost, and then consider its color and coat. Please DO NOT prefer the puppies based on color or type of coat! This should always be the last concern when picking the right puppy for your family. We also make sure potential buyers understand the breed's needs, including their energy levels, intelligence, and how they interact with children. A well-fenced yard is essential. We also uphold the JRTCA BCOE and standards of the breed.
